Creamy Walnut Tart
** Warning This Recipe Does Contain Nuts **
Ingredients.
Sweet crust pastry (ready roll is fine)
200g walnut pieces
1 egg
100g Brown Sugar
250g Cream (must be full fat)
Method.
- Line a fluted tart dish with sweet, shortcrust pastry
- Scatter walnut pieces into the base of the pastry.
- In a bowl, mix the egg and sugar until combined
- Add cream and mix well
- Pour mixture into the tart case and bake at 180° for 40 minutes
- Remove when just set and it’s best eaten when just warm or cold.
