Creamy Walnut Tart



** Warning This Recipe Does Contain Nuts **



Sweet crust pastry (ready roll is fine)

200g walnut pieces

1 egg

100g Brown Sugar

250g Cream (must be full fat)


  • Line a fluted tart dish with sweet, shortcrust pastry
  • Scatter walnut pieces into the base of the pastry.
  • In a bowl, mix the egg and sugar until combined
  • Add cream and mix well
  • Pour mixture into the tart case and bake at 180° for 40 minutes
  • Remove when just set and it’s best eaten when just warm or cold.
