Rachel Thompson-Smith is the newest member of the Victory team, most known for looking after the stations social media pages and websites graphic design. She is finally stepping behind the mic to get a taste of radio life!
Born in Portsmouth, Rachel studied Multi Media Journalism and gained a diploma in Graphic Design studying both subjects at Southdowns College, Waterlooville. Outside of Victory, Rachel has been playing the drums since she was 8 years old. Since 2019, she has worked as a Drum Tutor and Administrator for her families music school business, Ready to Rock School, teaching children and adults how to play guitar, drums, bass and over all, how to become a rock star!
She has been in a number of different bands, is currently involved in a punk rock band project depping for local band Dead Authors, and performing around Hampshire at local venues and bars for over 10 years! Rachel has a huge passion for music and has a wide taste in genres including Indie, Rock, Nu-Metal, K-pop, Pop, Alternative, Folk and Acoustic.
She is looking forward to starting her journey here at Victory and is honoured to be part of a team of people at such an iconic station!
