Anton Darby shows
Anton was born in Horndean and grew up in Petersfield. At the age of 17, he attended Drama School in London which was followed by a busy Acting career in Theatre and TV.
He joined Radio Victory at the outset in 1976 and Presented daily programmes for nine years. On leaving, he moved into TV Production as a Stage Manager for Yorkshire Television, working on many shows including ‘ The Darling Buds of May’ with David Jason.
As Assistant Director he has continued to work closely with Sir David on every project in the UK and abroad, for the past thirty years.
Anton is delighted to be back on Victory. He says “ The Station and it’s listeners have always been like a family to me, and I’m so excited for to continue”.
