Tracey Ansell
Tracey, an ordained Baptist Minister, has been serving at North End Baptist Church in Portsmouth since 2013, bringing a wealth of experience from her diverse background. Before her calling to ministry, she had a successful career in strategy development and change management, contributing to sectors such as Telecoms, Oil Industry, and Adult Education.
Though not originally from Portsmouth, Tracey has grown to love the city deeply. Her commitment to the community was illustrated in her role as Chaplain to the Lord Mayor & City Council from 2019 to 2022, a position she held with great honour.
In 2021, Tracey joined the Victory team, initially to deliver an Easter Day message. She has since become a regular voice on Neil’s Sunday morning Breakfast show, offering moments of reflection. Her segments, while rooted in Christian beliefs, are crafted to resonate with people of all faiths, as well as those with none, embodying her passion for making spiritual teachings relevant and accessible to a modern audience.
Tracey shares, “Music has a huge part in reflecting culture and emotions, helping us to connect with a wider community.” This belief underscores her enthusiasm for being part of what Victory brings to the Portsmouth community, bridging music and culture, in a way that speaks to everyone.
