Andy’s radio career started back in the 1970s when he was a presenter for Radio Victory on The Wonderful Wobbly Wireless Show, and for Portsmouth Hospital Broadcasting.

Andy grew up in Waterlooville, and trained at Highbury College. Since then, he has appeared on Capital Gold, BBC Radio London, Wandsworth Radio, Riverside Radio, Theatreland Radio, and Maritime Radio – where he still regularly presents.

Andy is a stage manager by profession, and started his career in the theatre, working for Paul Raymond at the world-famous Raymond Revuebar strip club, and Madame Jojo’s drag club, among others.

His first professional pantomime as a stage manager was at The Kings Theatre in 1989.  A claim to fame in the theatre is that Andy was the final Stage Manager in the 20th century, to cue a play in a summer season at the Chichester Festival Theatre. More theatre has included the West-End productions of Blood Brothers, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Mousetrap, An Ideal Husband, From a Jack To a King, Eddie Izzard – Live At The Ambassadors, and recently as Company Manager on Thriller Live.

He has been Company Manager on the pantomime at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley for the past six years.
