David Williams shows
Like every job and hobby he has ever had, David ended up in radio by accident. When most kids were doing a paper round (remember those) a 14 year old David was in the local radio station answering phones and filling in music logs.
Always interested in the technical side of radio, colour blindness prevented him becoming an engineer so focus shifted to production (commercial, imaging and programming), copywriting and presentation. These skills took him to radio stations all over the country until 2010 when a chance meeting at a bus stop meant a career in forensic science beckoned.
In his Victory (cable) days David presented a number of different programmes leading to the breakfast show – a bit of a stretch for someone who isn’t a morning man as it meant catching the bus from Emsworth at a ridiculously early hour.
After leaving Victory David went to work for radio stations in London, the Midlands and North West but is glad to be back at Victory Online, catching up with old friends and colleagues as well as playing great music.
In his spare time, he likes hill and trail running, climbing and kayaking.
